Teaching AI with Care
and Patience
We founded Witthaya on a simple belief: that good technical education takes time, and that learners deserve a place where that time is respected.
← Back to HomeWhere the Program Began
Witthaya was started in Bangkok by a small group of engineers and educators who kept noticing the same pattern: people with a genuine interest in AI would attempt short-form online content, feel overwhelmed within a few weeks, and quietly give up. Not because they lacked ability, but because the material was presented as though speed were the point.
We decided to build something different. Each program at Witthaya is designed around the idea that real understanding builds slowly, through practice, reflection, and the freedom to revisit what you need to revisit. Our module structure, practice checklists, and mentor review model all come from this central principle.
We work from our offices on Phaya Thai Road in Ratchathewi, Bangkok, and our instruction team includes people with backgrounds in software engineering, machine learning research, and adult education. We keep cohorts small so that each learner receives personal attention rather than a generic experience.
Our Mission
To give people in Thailand and the wider region access to AI development education that is careful, well-paced, and built around lasting understanding rather than short-term completion.
Our Approach
Three structured programs, each with a plain-language exercise list per module, mentor-reviewed work, and open access to all materials throughout enrolment. No timers, no pressure, no inflated claims about outcomes.
Our Values
Patience in teaching. Honesty about what each program covers. Respect for the learner's time and circumstances. And a strong preference for depth over quantity.
People Behind the Programs
Ariya Petcharat
Program Director
Ariya spent eight years in applied ML research before building Witthaya's curriculum. She designed the module checklist format that learners consistently mention as particularly helpful.
Krit Nakhon
Lead Instructor — Systems
Krit leads the AI Systems Engineering Track. His background is in production ML infrastructure, and he brings that practical perspective to the deployment section of the curriculum.
Siriporn Thong
Learner Support Lead
Siriporn oversees the feedback and mentor review process, ensuring responses are specific, encouraging, and genuinely useful. She also coordinates learner onboarding.
How We Maintain Quality
Instructor Review Process
Every exercise submission receives written feedback from a human instructor, not an automated checker. We review work within two Bangkok working days.
Module Accuracy Checks
Program content is reviewed at least twice yearly by our technical team to ensure it reflects current practices in AI development and Python tooling.
Data Privacy Standards
Learner data is stored securely and is not shared with external parties for marketing. We follow Thai PDPA requirements and maintain clear data handling procedures.
Cohort Size Limits
We deliberately limit the number of active learners per instructor to ensure feedback quality remains high and no one waits unreasonably for a response.
Learner Satisfaction Reviews
We collect structured feedback at program milestones and after completion. This feeds directly into curriculum improvements each cycle.
Technical Environment Testing
All code exercises are tested across environments before inclusion. We document compatible tool versions clearly so learners do not spend time on setup issues.
AI Education Built for the Long Term
Witthaya operates from Bangkok with a focus on practical AI development skills. Our three programs cover the full arc from programming foundations through to model deployment. Each is written in plain English and structured so that learners can work at whatever pace their schedule allows.
We work with Python, standard ML libraries, and the kind of tools that practising engineers actually use. Exercises are small and purposeful, designed to build competence gradually rather than simulate the feeling of speed. We believe that people who understand what they are doing are better equipped to continue learning independently once a program ends.
Bangkok has a growing community of people interested in technology and data, and we are glad to be part of that. If you are considering a structured path into AI development — whether you are a student, a working professional, or someone returning to learning after time away — we would be glad to hear from you.
